Privacy Notice
How we handle your information.
How Quorlytic collects, uses and protects personal information from enquiries and website visits, the providers involved, and your rights.
In short
- We collect only what you choose to send us when you make an enquiry, plus the basic technical information any web server records.
- We use it to reply to you and to run the website. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by writing to connect@quorlytic.com.
Who we are
Quorlytic ("Quorlytic", "we", "us") is a data engineering, analytics and AI consultancy. This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through quorlytic.com and through the enquiries you send us. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Quorlytic is the data fiduciary (controller) for that information.
You can contact us about anything in this notice at connect@quorlytic.com.
Information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways.
- Information you give us through our enquiry forms: your name, work email address, company name and website, country, role, company type, the services or capabilities you are interested in, your current data platforms, your preferred way of working, timeline and budget range, whether you would like an NDA first, and whatever you choose to write about your requirement. Phone or WhatsApp number, role, budget range and LinkedIn profile are optional.
- When you submit a form, our server records the time, the page you sent it from and your browser type. It does not store your IP address: it keeps only a one-way hash of it, used to prevent abuse such as repeated automated submissions.
- Information you send us directly: the content of emails to connect@quorlytic.com and of WhatsApp messages to our business number, including your contact details.
- Technical information recorded by our web server: your IP address, the date and time of each request, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. This is standard for every website and is used only to operate and secure the site.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal information, passwords, access keys or your clients' data. The Data & AI readiness worksheet on this site works entirely in your browser: its answers are never sent to us.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started.
- To understand your requirement, decide whether we are a good fit, and prepare a scope or proposal if you ask for one.
- To keep a record of our business correspondence.
- To operate, maintain and protect the website, including detecting abuse and diagnosing faults.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for automated decision-making. We do not add you to a mailing list; if we ever start one, we will ask first.
Legal basis
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the information you send us on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form or write to us, and for the legitimate uses the Act permits. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that has already taken place.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and running a secure website.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. Each receives only the information it needs for its task.
- Hostinger, which hosts the servers that run this website and our enquiry forms, stores the enquiries you submit through those forms on those servers, keeps web server logs, and provides the connect@quorlytic.com mailbox from which we send enquiry notifications and the copy of your enquiry we email to you. No third-party form service receives what you submit.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the country you are in, including outside India. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer and on the protections applicable law requires for cross-border transfers.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting relationship. If no engagement follows, we delete them within 24 months of our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Web server logs: rotated automatically and kept only for a short period, for security and troubleshooting.
- Records connected to a signed engagement: for as long as the contract and applicable law require.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information: the website is served only over HTTPS with modern security headers, access to our mailbox and servers is restricted to people who need it, and we keep the information we hold to a minimum. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us anything you would not want to transmit by email.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct or complete information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to erase your information.
- Withdraw consent you have given.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and receive your information in a portable format (where the GDPR applies).
- Complain to a supervisory authority, including the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, email connect@quorlytic.com. We will confirm your request and respond within the time applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to third-party websites, such as technology vendors' documentation and professional profiles. We are not responsible for how those sites handle personal information; please read their privacy notices.
If something goes wrong
If a personal data breach affects information we hold, we will take steps to contain it, and we will notify the people affected and the relevant authorities where applicable law requires.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
